I want to write a simple message to my father, a car mechanic, construction worker and electrician among other things where I say that I am starting to study programming and that he is my inspiration, because essentially we are doing the same thing (you can make an analogy here about solving problems, about putting things in the world and about fixing things). I want to make it clear that his intelligence, his smarts and his curiosity have always been much bigger inspirations to me than the doctors with degrees hanging on the wall with no agency in the world.

Dear Dad,
